<lj:music>Sleepless Beauty, Snake Bite Mix - Gravitation Soundtrack</lj:music>

Oh, man. So earlier this week I remember thinking to myself, "I've got to update my journal, I can't wait to write about this!"

Trouble is, I don't remember what it was that I was so excited to write about.

*sigh*

I suppose I'll just talk then. Maybe I'll remember what it was.

Right, so, I've had three tests this past week. Thursday night I had an algebra test, which I was reasonably prepared for. I think I did all right on it (college algebra makes me rage, but that's a rant for another time).

Friday I had my art test. Okay, this thing pisses me off. Our professor will give us a lot of pictures to memorize for our test. We have to remember the name, time period, and medium of the work. That in itself isn't all that bad, but what sucks ass is that he'll give us about 50 to memorize, and then only put 20 or so on the test.

*seethes*

So, yeah.  After memorizing 50 of them, some of them get kind of lost and run together.  I don't think I did so great on that test. xD;;;  Even though art is like... so easy. >_>;;

The other test I had on Friday was my written portion of-- HOSHIT I JUST REMEMBERD YAY! Okay okay. I had my written portion of Japanese. It was just grammar and such. Earlier that week I'd had my verbal portion of the test. Monday and Wednesday were both used for verbal testing, since we do have so many people in the class and only 50 minutes of class time (each verbal test was like 5 minutes or so). Keiko-sensei was giving the test in another room down the hall, so the rest of us in the classroom got to watch Kiki's delievery service for both class periods. ;DDD It was funny, because most of the people in that class have never seen a Miyazaki film. They didn't even know who he was, which is sad. But now they are educated! Yays!

Both Sugako-san and Keiko-sensei both were surprised that Alexis and I have seen almost every Miyazaki film ever made. And, speaking of Miyazaki films, this is the thing that I remembered!

Goro Miyazaki, Hayao Miyazaki's son, has just put out his first movie! It's called Tales From Earthsea, and it's based on the fantasy series by Ursula K. Le Guinn. I LOVE THOSE BOOKS. Omg. I nearly died of happiness when I read about it. Go now and watch it on youtube! GO NOW!

http://youtube.com/watch?v=mQy1KsjNml4

It's divided into about 11 parts. Gods, it's so amazing. I love it. *squee*

I know that there was something else that I wanted to write about. I can't think of it right now, but maybe it'll come to me later on.

I realized when I got home that I'd left my Butterfly song at school. DX< I brought my external HD with me because I wanted music for this weekend (JUST REMEMBERED SOMETHING ELSE ;DDD) and I thought it was on there, but it wasn't. And I was sad. ;<

Oh, so right. Remember, like, back on my birthday I got a new computer? Yeah, well, I just found out about 3 days ago that the thing has speakers in the monitor. How cool is that. D:

So... I think I'm done for now. Bai! XD

Gods, I had the best weekend! Okay, so I need to do some background info on why I was staying on campus this weekend in order for everyone to understand what was going on.

I had to stay on campus this weekend to do community service. And before anyone asks, NO I AM NOT IN TROUBLE! Jayzus. That FYE class that I have requires that you do 10 hours of community service. It's fucking RETARDED but oh well. :333333

Okay, so. Nicole went home this weekend and I stayed here by myself. I thought I was going to be alone all weekend, so I was ready to be lonely and such. I went to bed Friday sorta lonely-ish and woke up at 6:30 to go to the Boys & Girls club. The peer-mentor lady, Jenna, told me that we were supposed to meet at 8:00, or at least that's what I thought. We were actually supposed to meet at 7:30 and leave at 8:00. So by the time I woke up and walked out to the parking lot down the street it was about 7:50. I didn't see anyone, so I called up D'ante and asked if he knew where the hell we were supposed to meet. He said that we were supposed to meet right where I was standing but there was no one there. THEN he told me that they'd just left the parking lot and were on the way to the Boys & Girls club. "So, do you need a ride?" DUMBEST FUCKING QUESTION EVER!

Don't get me wrong, D'ante's awesome, but... come on. D:

It'd told Jenna a few days earlier that I was going to need to catch a ride with her because I didn't have any other way to get to the place. Anyway, they turned back around and came got me. They weren't that far away, only a block or so.

Anyway, so we get to the place and find out that what we have planned for us is not at all what we thought we were going to have to do. I thought we'd be working with kids and suck, but nooooooooooooo. They want us to fucking take EVERYTHING out of this tiny, cramped little storage closet-type thing (which was BURSTING with junk) and "organize" it. Fuckers. Anyway, so we pulled everything out, went through it, threw out the junk, and put everything back in the best we could. The whole thing took us about an hour (we were supposed to spend five hours there). Next, the guy had us paint the walls and baseboards. This took fucking FOREVER! XD

By the time we were done, it was like 12:00 or something. The guy didn't have anything else for us to do, so we went back to the campus. Jenna took us all back to the parking lot, and Kelly gave me a ride over to the UC so I could grab something to eat (I was frikken STARVING). I got some Chik-Fil-A and walked back to my dorm to eat it (this walk is at least half a mile or more). Anyway, so I eat the food while watching Blue Planet on Discovery, or whatever channel.

Around 1;50, Brigette calls and says that she's on her way to come pick me up. I got my stuff together and left my room to go wait for her outside. About five minutes later, I was in her car on our way to Michaela's house.

So we pull up to her apartment to find her running down the stairs. She comes down yelling, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, guys! I'm so sorry!" Apparently, earlier she'd locked herself out of her apartment, with her cell phone on the inside. She'd had to wait for her friend Sara to get there before she could call her roommate to tell her to come help her out. Anyway, so she was rushing out to go and pick up Alexis, which she was supposed to have done by then. She told us to go ahead and go up in her apartment, since Sara was already there. So we go in and sit down on the living room floor. Michaela's roommate Hilary was sitting on the couch with her boyfriend watching Sorority Boys as Brigette and I got our Japanese books and such out. A few minutes later Michaela and Alexis came back with (gasp!) Taco Bell bags! The buttholes! They'd gone and gotten food and left me to suffer from STARVATION!!! *GROWLS*

Actually... no. I wasn't even hungry. Lawl.

SO ANYWAY! We all got our Japanese notes out and everything and started studying. Well, needless to say, with the... How many of us?... the actual "studying" didn't last very long. xD Before long, we were all sprawled across teh floor laughing our heads off and talking about anything and nothing. xD This lasted for a few hours. Sara, Hilary and her boyfriend had all since left, so it was just Me, Alexis, Michaela, and Brigette.

Somewhere along the way we got to talking about gay people. I was walking around the room and said, "So, have any of you watched Queer as Folk?"

Michaela almost fucking JUMPS out of her chair. "Oh my god, I LOVE that show! I have the whole first season on dvd. I didn't know any of you liked it!" In fact, she told us that she'd actually hidden it so that we wouldn't see it. She was afraid of us seeing it and was worried about what we would say if we saw it. So needless to say, all of us were like "OMFG LET'S WATCH IT!"

So... yah. Michaela called Sara and told her to come back over and my saturday night was spent with my awesome friend huddled on a couch watching Queer As Folk.

Life is fucking AWESOME!!!

We watched like 7 episodes, (somewhere in the middle we made a run to McDonald's) and by the time we noticed how much time had passed it was 2am. xDD Brigette had to leave, but Alexis and I stayed at Michaela's for the night. Michaela brought out some pillows and blankets and such for us to set up some pallets. I let Alexis have the couch while I took the floor because I'M TOO FUCKING OF A NICE PERSON! XD

Anyway, so I woke up at like 9 and everyone else woke up at like 10:30 or so. Once everyone was up, we all sat around talking for the longest time. Michaela showed us pictures of the Pride parade in atlanta and a video of a dancing Go-Go boy. Hawntess omg!!!

So, we're hanging and somehow or another the topic of piercings comes about (can't imagine why). Alexis says something along the lines of "I've always wanted to get my tongue pierced."

Magic words, I guess.

Sara pops up and says, "Really? You wanna go do it?" Alexis got all wide-eyed and was like, "Are you serious?"

Michaela pipes in with "Hell yeah, let's do it!"

So... yeah... 30 minutes later we were gathering up our things to head out. We came back here to our dorms first. Neither Alexis nor I had thought to take our toothbrushes or anything else to Michaela's house. We'd had no idea we'd be staying over. So we ran inside and changed, brushed our teeth, whatever, and then ran back outside.

When I got back in the car, Michaela turns around and tells me that we have to go back to her apartment really quick. Her parents had called and told her that they were coming over to steam clean her couch and some other stuff. She wanted to get back to hide QaF from plain site, because she apparently has really conservative parents. Pfah. Anyway, so we ran back and hid it and waited about 20 minutes for them to get there. Her sister walked in a few minutes before her parents. We stayed for a few minutes and then left. Needless to say, Michaela's parents didn't know we were going to get Alexis' tongue pierced. XDDDD

As we're riding down the road (we'd run by the bank first so Alexis could get some money from the ATM), we noticed rain a few blocks ahead of us. We were only one redlight away from the place, so we're all yelling, "NOOOOOO! Raaaaain, waaaiiiit! We're almost there, just wait!!!"

Well, the rain didn't wait, and it had started by the time we were parked. We all had to run out of the car to the building to avoid getting soaked. It was fun fun.

I got really nervous as we walked in the place, even though I wasn't getting anything done. I don't like needles at all, and that kind of place kinda freaks me out. XD It was really clean, though, and the people were really nice. They weren't covered in tattoos from head to toe like the people you see on tv. I guess I was more nervous for Alexis than anything else.

We had to wait FOREVER because they only had one piercer working today. We were there for about an hour and a half, sitting on a couch and looking through tattoo designs, until the guy walked out and said, "So... which of you wants to get needled?" Alexis laughed and stood and followed him, and Michaela went with them. Sara and I were just sitting there with nothing to do. xD

It LITERALLY took them... four minutes and forty-eight seconds to pierce her tongue. After waiting for so akjfhdkfal;sdj long. Alexis was running the ball across her teeth. She could hardly talk without stumbling over Ss. xDD

We ran to Wal-Mart, which is where Michaela had told her parents where we were going. It was a quick shopping trip before we went back to her apartment. Sara had to go home, so the three of us were just lounging around in Michaela's living room until we started watching QaF again. We watched two episodes before she brought me and Alexis back to the dorms.

So... That was my amazing weekend of fun and happiness.  Gods, I feel FANTASTIC!  I'm so hyper.  I keep listening to Butterfly and random techno/trance that Scott is sending me (not Scruffy Scott, Maka Scott XD).  I feel so great!  I know I'm probably bothering Nicole, she's laying in bed ready to go to sleep and here I am typing away like a bat outta hell. XDDDD;;;

Gods, I'm so happy. I wish I could feel like this all the time. x333333

<lj:music>That's Your Horoscope for Today - Weird Al</lj:music>

Well, to be perfectly honest I'd nearly forgotten this thing existed. o_o;

So, things were hectic the past few months. Birthday came and passed. College acceptance, Graduation, Orientation, all that's passed. So now I'm living in my dorm at my college, and I'm home for the weekend and thought I'd update this thing. :333

So. Now I'm a full-time student (currently 14 hours) and midterms are fast approaching. I like all my classes, for the most part, and I'm doing pretty well in them. Here's my Schedule:

Monday

Tuesday

Wednesday

Thursday

Friday

8:00-8:50 Intro to Visual Art

2:00-2:50 FYE*

8:00-8:50 Intro to Visual Art

2:00-2:50 FYE*

8:00-8:50 Intro to Visual Art

11:00-11:50 Japanese (hell yes!)

6:30-7:45 Algebra

11:00-11:50 Japanese

6:30-7:45 Algebra

11:00-11:50 Japanese

3:30-4:45 Post-Civil War History

3:30-4:45 Post-Civil War History

Omg I'm rusty on html coding. So that art class about kills me, having to wake up so early on mondays and such and walk all the way across campus to class. And the class itself is nyeeeeeeh. Boring-ish. XD It's all lectures and note taking.

But uhm, anyway, the reason I wanted to write this journal is to tell about the awesome day that I had yesterday.  It was Culture Day, and I walked into the building where we have Japanese class and everyone's bookbags were just kinda thrown around, but no one was there.  I stood there for a few minutes wondering what the hell was up when Midori-san walked down the hall and said, "Do you want to try on a yukata?"  Needless to say I jumped up and said "YES!" with more enthusiasm than can be conveyed on the internet. XD  So I followed her down the hall to Keiko-san's office and everyone was in there trying on yukatas. XD  I walked in and sensei told me to chose one, which I did, and I had to stand there while they put it on me.  I was giggling the whole time, happy as hell.  Keiko-san was like, "Are you ticklish?" And I'm not, really, but I was having so much fun.  I remember at one point I said something like, "I feel so Asian!!!" It was awesome. xDD  Midori-san asked me to take off my jeans because it was hard to tie the yukata.  Someone said something like "It's the bulk of the jeans, it makes it harder." and I said, "It's not the jeans." D:  Which it probably wasn't, I've been gaining weight since I started college. xD;;

So anyway. When class started, Keiko-san had all of us push the tables to the back of the room while Sugako-san put us in a cirlce. She was showing us some traditional Japanese Bon dance steps. When we had it down, we all got into a big circle/conga line and danced to some festival music. It was so flipping hilarious. xD Midori-san and Keiko-san got up on the tables and were taking pictures the whole time. xD So there I am, in my little Yukata, in a conga line doing some traditional Japanese steps. It was epic win.

After class I walked with Alexis (one of my new anime/yaoi buddies. I have tons XD) to the Admissions office for some reason or another. Afterwards, we walked across the street and were passing by the library when we spotted Resa, Andrew, and Chris, three people in our Japanese class. They were there with some other girl, Molly, talking about anime and AWA and such. So we stopped and talked for the longest time, until we started talking like forming an Anime/Japanese culture club on campus. We were all really enthusiastic about it, and Resa pipes up with "WE NEED SOME KIND OF SECRET HANDSHAKE!" so I say, "HOW ABOUT THE DANCE?!?!"

So. Can you guess what happens next?

The six of us, Me, Alexis, Andrew, Chris, Resa, and the new girl Molly, all get into a circle and do the traditional Japanese dance. In the middle of the square in front of the library. With people walking by looking at us like we're insane. But we had so much fun! Anyway, after that we all split up and Alexis came with me back to my dorm room. We played Soul Calibur II for a while before I had to start packing to leave and Alexis left.

I just wanted to write it down while it was fresh in my mind. I love my new friends, they're all random and fun. XD And Resa's just too adorable for words. <333

Anyway, bed time ;DDD~~

The major things I got for Christmas were a cell phone (Kyocera strobe! Wewt!) and a dvd writer for my compy. About a week and a half ago (the 28th, actually), I bought myself a Wii and the new Zelda game to go along with it. I've already put 30+ hours into it and I'm not sure if I'm even half way done. >_>

Two days ago, I bought myself a DS Lite and Elite Beat Agents. XD Spendthrift is me? I don't know. I'd gotten in the truck that day after my mom picked me up from school and my little brother had one in his hands. Mum said that they'd finally gotten them in at Wal-Mart, so she bought one for him. We went back afterwards to fill a perscription for him (we'd just gone to the doctor, yo) and I saw that they had some more and decided to get one. A total impulse buy, it was. It was the first time I'd done anything of the sort, and it kind of felt good. Except now I'm totally broke. I don't know if I'll be able to pay my cell phone bill this month. xD

So, a few weeks ago we started another grid drawing assignment in Art II. I don't know if I wrote about my first grid drawing here or not. In any case, the first one was a self-portrait. It came out pretty decent. At any rate, for this assignment we had to choose an animal to draw. The task was basically just to give us something to enter into the upcoming local art show. Mr. LeMahieu had printed out a lot of animals (tigers, dolphins, lions, things like that), but they were all fugly and I didn't want to draw any of them. So I got on google and found a really pretty draft horse (I think it's a Shire) and did that one instead. I finished it Monday in school and Mr. L took it to the Java place after school (that's where the art show is being held). It's still there, the announcements for the winners and such will be tomorrow. Mum went there the other day right after the judging and spoke to the woman in the room. She told mum that mine was one of two favorites in the art show, so I'm hopeful about my chances of first place. The prize is $175, so that'd be nice.

That day, Monday, when I came home from school, I had kind of a creative burst and started writing. It was originally intended to be just a description of the sunrise that morning (which was absolutely stunning, by the way) but it's steadily morphing into something more complex. I think I've finally found my inspiration. And, wouldn't you know it, it was in the sky. Sounds kind of stupid, but there you have it. xD I have an idea swirling around in my head. I'm trying to nurse it into something really good. We'll see where it goes. :3

It seems like I haven't had time for anything lately, between school and my online class. Yes, the dreaded online French II class. I swear, it's taken over my life. It's not that the work is hard or anything, it's just that there is tons of it. I'm a little behind in my assignments right now. Mainly because I've been slacking off this week. I haven't put so much effort into schoolwork in... ever. It's mentally exhausting to someone who isn't accustomed to it. I'd much rather be sleeping or playing games or something. Oh, I just remembered something else I wanted to write about.

Last week, on Monday, I stayed after school for art club. We were doing "surgery" on our poor, gender-confused eagle in the gym. Now, this eagle has been the bane of my existance since I first stepped foot in the high school gym. Which was in kindergarten. I hated it then, and I hate it now, and I'll always hate it. Or, at least, that's what I thought, but we're fixing it now. I suppose I should first tell you what was wrong with it.

Okay, number one: He had manboobs.

Whoever painted this flipping eagle apparently thought that pecs = breasts, which they do not. The chest area was rounded all around, almost as though he were wearing a push-up bra. It was... distubring.

Number two: His genitalea is overly apparent. I swear it looks like he has a tennis ball wedged in there.

Number three: He has teeth-abs. You know how people's abs are lined up vertically? yeah, well, his are horizontal. D: I kid you not.

Number four: His teeth look like... like... well, like this |\/\/\/\/|. I guess he's supposed to have fangs, but it just looks like someone drew two lines and some diagonals inbetween. Oh, and he has a flat head, too.

So, yeah, we're doing major surgery. Anyway, I stayed after school that day. I didn't know we were starting on his manboobs, though, which required getting on a 15-ft ladder. Normally, I'm not afraid of heights, but the basketball team was in there and the ladder didn't look at all stable, so I just let Mr. L and Kristy have the fun of scaling the rickety thing. While Kristy was up there, Mr. L had the bright idea for us to play badminton. They had the nets up for the gym classes, and Coach Harris didn't care one way or the other what we did, so long as we fixed the damn bird. So yeah, Mr. L, Jevon, Ashley, and I played badminton most of the afternoon. Whenever something drastic needed to be done, Mr. L would go up and Kristy would come down, and we'd resume playing. Ashley and I were basically the fetchers, going back and forth to the art room to get more brushes, paint, etc., so we didn't have much to do as it was. Jevon was doing much of the same. After the paint was laid down, we got a projector and traced some new lettering onto the eagle's chest. We played badminton again after that. The basketball team left shortly after that and so did Kristy, and Ashley was holding up the projector as Mr. L was on top of the ladder. Jevon got a soccer ball and we started running around and stuff. I haven't goofed off like that in so long. It felt great just to cut loose and have fun like a little kid again. It was so refreshing. xD

Not much else to say, I don't think... Every day has been more or less the same. There've been a few birthdays this past month though. Lessee.

01-03 Randy's birthday
01-05 Nicole and Fletcher's Birthday
01-11 John's Birthday
01-12 Dad's Birthday
01-13 Jevon's Birthday
01-15 Lacy's Birthday
01-24 Sam's Birthday
02-07 Kenji's Birthday

So, Happy Birthday to all those people. xD Love them all so much. <3~

I'm off to attempt to do more French work that I probably will end up not doing and have to turn in late. Oh well. xD

    <lj:music>Evanescence - Lithium</lj:music>

*cough* Okay, so I've missed writing about a lot of things. A lot's happened since October, so I'll just cover the big things. I'm not feeling very eloquent right now, so just... deal with it and read. D=

Two days after my last entry, my mum got a new car. It's this really awesome Lincoln Navigator, cashmere colored with golden trim, and a golden tail pipe of leetness. It's so much more awesome than our old Durango. It has all these new features that are totally awesome, like... power windows that actually work. =\ Oh, and a heater that actually heats! That was nice.

... >_> No, but it does have some nice things, like the built-in DVD player and the 6 disc cd player thing. It's really roomy and totally awesome.

So that night, Halloween night, we went to this little thing called Truck or Treat at the church down the road. It was this little thing they'd set up for the kids to do instead of walking around town in the dark. Everyone brought their trucks and set up a type of stand thing on the tailgates, decorated with hay and pumpkins and other things, and had candy for the kids. It was a safer, more tight-knit way of doing things without taking away the fun of walking around and yelling "Trick or Treat!". Everyone knew each other and that made it fun for the kids. After we'd walked around to all of the trucks, the kids got to play on the playground for a bit before we went inside the church to eat. We sat around talking for a while afterwards, until they announced that they were going to be moving into the chapel for the revival, then we kind of... discreetly left.

During all this, my stepdad's mom was staying with us. Marilyn usually comes down once a year and stays with us 2-3 weeks. I don't really care to recount her visit or the things we did (or didn't do) while she was here. She always complains, and I hate how she's so damn picky about everything in my bathroom. I have to share it with her when she's here. Dx

Not too long after Halloween, probably a week or so, we had this huge senior assembly thing at school. It was just the counselors sitting us all down, telling us how many seniors were failing, how we should be more serious, yadda yadda yadda. Afterwards, they gave us our transcripts and a packet with a long list of scholarship programs and told us that we had to make an appointment with one of the counselors to have an audit or we'd be suspended for 10 days. So, I was looking through the packet of the scholarships, and noticed that I couldn't apply for any of them. They were all for either black people or minority groups or handicapped people. So, I was just kind of thinking, "Well... shit." A few days later when I had my appointment with the counselor lady, I pointed all that out to her and she said that she'd gotten the list out of a minority catalog thing. Well, no flipping wonder. D= Anyway, I stayed in there with her talking about school and stuff for a good hour or so. It was enjoyable enough. She's not a troll like the other guidance counselor lady.

Over the Thanksgiving holidays, we went to Disney World! It was totally awesome. We stayed in this condo type thing with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, dining, and a living room, and paid less for it than we would have for a hotel room. We were on the 8th floor and had an awesome view of all the parks at night. We left Thanksgiving day and went to the first park Friday. We went to Magic Kingdom first. The first thing we did was to head into Tomorrowland, and we worked our way around the park counter-clockwise from there. I wasn't really impressed with Magic Kingdom, but that's really for smaller kids anyway. We stayed until late and watched the fireworks show at 9:30. That... was so amazing. The next two days, we went to Epcot. HOLY FUCKING BAJEEBUS EPCOT IS THE AWESOMENESS OF AWESOME. D= I effing LOVE Epcot. Oh my god. We did the same with Epcot as we did with Magic kingdom, we worked our way counter-clockwise around the park. We ate lunch at this place, Yakitori House, in the Japanese district part. I ate their curry and OMFG IT WAS DELICIOUS. *dies* I taught my little brother Asa how to eat with chopsticks. He saw me doing it and wanted to do it, too, so most of my meal was just teaching him how to hold the chopsticks and use them. xD Everyone liked the food so much that we came back and ate there again the next day. I... can't begin to describe how completely awesome Disney World was. And the kids had a blast. Hell, everyone had a blast. xD Sure the parks were crowded, but we stayed in a great condo, weren't cramped, no one got on each others nerves... It was just a really great time.

Hmm... what else... Oh! Something I found hilarious. I can't remember exactly what we were doing or what was said, but one day in the welding shop, Tai said something to me that made Cascillas say, "You should throw something at him for that." I picked up the nearest thing, a bottle of water, and whipped around and cocked my arm back and made like I was going to throw it at Tai. The look on his face was effing priceless. xDDD I wish so badly that I'd had my camera. He froze up and had a look of total O_____O on his face. xDDD Oh gods. XD This happened on a day that I really needed that laugh, and I almost died from asphyxiation. Tai took it well, and was joking with me afterwards when I was trying to hug him and apologize (all the while laughing my ass off) about having "No love!" for me. xD Tai's great fun.

I finally got FFXII about two weeks ago. I haven't gotten very far, though. I got to a point where I needed to level up to continue and I'm just... more of a storyline person. I don't like breaking to level up. x_x So I'm kind of on a mental strike right now. xD

While Marylin was here, she gave me $100, and I just got a check from my grandparents in the mail yesterday for $100, so I'm now able to buy a Wii. The thing is, I can't find any of the little blighters. My Wal-Mart had 10 in stock about two weeks ago, but wouldn't sell them. They said that they were saving for some kind of sale the next week. Obviously, I didn't get one during the sale. But! I hear rumor that they're getting more in stock on the 16th. So guess where I'll be. xD

Gawd, Christmas is so close and I don't know what to get anyone. I pulled Laura's name for my gift for Christmas, and I have no clue what she wants. I tried to call her a few minutes ago to get an idea, but got her voice mail. =\

I took my SAT December 2nd, and am now anxiously awaiting my scores. I can't see them until the 21st, when I'll be able to look at them online. I won't get the actual scores on paper until like January 15. Yeah... So, I've been taking finals this past week. I passed all of them, so I didn't have to go back to school yesterday. I'm out until January 3rd. =O~ They did it weird this year. The first day of finals was a normal 9-period day (I did Human Anatomy, Business Document Processing, Trig, Art II, and both Welding finals this day). But the second day they changed it to 4 90-minute blocks (I did band and Art III this day). I'm not quite sure why, but okay. >_>; After I finished my Art III final, Mr. LeMahieu went online to this trivia site and we did that for the rest of the day... That was kinda fun.

I didn't do anything yesterday except lay around until about 1:00 or so. Mum and I planned on going out to the Bistro, but it was packed, so we went to Dairy Queen instead. Mushroom & Swiss burgers win. =O~ I ate two of them and got that little white gravy they give you with chicken strips for my french fries. I was a happy person. =3 Afterwards, we went to Wal-Mart to see if they'd gotten any DSs in stock (Look, Jenn, no apostrophe! =D!). It was a no-go, but while I was standing in the Electronics section, I overheard a conversation between the lady and someone who'd called her on her phone about how they would be getting some Wiis in stock on the 16th. So... I'm hoping I'll get one. =\

Even if I don't, mum and I are going out of town Sunday, so we'll be able to look around at the mall and stuff for them. I doubt I'll find one, though. I'm probably going to have to wait until February. =\

So today, all the kids had Christmas parties at school. I had to wake up early this morning and help mom get the food ready for the party. We took those little corndog looking things, except they're sausage and pancakes. You know the stuff. Ended up that all the kids were really late to school. We didn't get there until about 8:40 or so. This was mainly due to the fact that there is no flipping ice to be had in this town. I went in to Harvey's but their machine was broken and there was nothing but a huge puddle of ice inside. I finally found a bag at the drug store close by, and we were able to go to the school. When we got there, what I saw just reinforced my gratefulness of not having to go to that effing private school. I walked into the lunchroom, and there was a row of kids sitting at the table, all with Santa hats on, rocking back and forth, singing Happy Birthday. I was thinking it was someone's birthday soon or something, until I heard them start saying "Happy Birthday Dear Jeeesuuuuus". It wasn't just this, but also the long-ass prayer done by one of the kids before we could eat, and how everyone said the Lord's Prayer before the assembly afterwards. It's just... too religious. Dx Anyway, it was Asa's grade we ate with, and afterwards the kids opened presents, then played a game where they got extra gifts and things. After that, all the kids went out and played on the playground while the parents cleaned up the lunch room. I went out with Asa to the playground. The 1st graders were out when we went out, so the twins were out. Erin didn't see me at first and ran straight to Asa, but tackled me as soon as she noticed me. xD They all played around for a while, the boys chasing each other as Erin chased them until we all got called back inside. Asa had to go to class for a while, so I went and found mom. She and I sat in the truck until 11:00, when the assembly started. They had all the elementary kids up on stage, and the classes sang songs individually according to grade. After each song, they grad that had just sang would walk of stage and line up in a line on the floor in front of the stage. When the songs were done, all of the grades, middle and high schoolers included (it's a private school, so teh grades aren't huge. Everyone fit into the auditorium easily), sang the 12 Days of Christmas, each grade singing the part of their grade number. Days 1-5 were the most hilarious, each of the grades was trying to outdo the others in terms of volume. They were each screaming their part as loudly as they possibly could. The older classes changed up their lyrics. I can't remember exactly what they all were, but I think the 6th day was "Six Nasty Sixth Graders", 7th was normal, 8th was "Blah blah blah blah", 9th I don't remember... When it got to the 10th graders' part, they all stood up, and at first I thought they'd forgotten their part until they all turned around and held up signs that said "10 Silent Sophomores". I thought that was pretty witty. xD The 11th graders I can't remember, but when it got to the seniors part, they all stood up and turned around, the furthest row standing on their chairs, and whipped out Silly String and sprayed it all over the juniors. xD It was so great. xDDD

So after all that, we picked up the kids and went out to eat at Pizza Hut. There, I saw Tim, Robert, Steve, and Fletcher all eating together. The place was packed, so we grabbed their table as they left. I also saw Mandy, Steven, and their girls Kambry and Karli, the ones I babysat last summer. Karli came over to me while I was eating and spoke to me a bit before she had to leave. She's getting really big. x_x I was surprised that Kambry didn't come over and talk to me. She was my buddy while I was baby-sitting them... Meh, well.

We came home after that, and mom told me about a present she's getting me for Christmas. I'm getting a Kyocera Strobe phone, apparently (http://www.kyocera-wireless.com/strobe-phone/). I squeed. =3

And now I'm not doing anything, except talking to people on msn and listening to Evanescence.

Maybe it won't be so long until I update again. We'll see. =P

Oh, gawds. The most hilarious thing just happened to me. XD;;; Before, I talk about it, though, I'm gonna recap the past few days.

Turns out some spoiled kid from the private school got the X360 from the Future Now thing. Figures. I'm glad I didn't go. Jevon said that a good 40 minutes of it was nothing but straight preaching.

The day after that, Thursday, during third period, all the power in the school shut off.  It was hilarious, too.  I talked about that new remote control/orb thingy Mr. Woodams got for his class.  Well, it gives us a certain amount of time to input our answers, like 3 minutes or so.  It was counting down from 10 when I looked up, and when it got to 1, all the power just went boom. XD  It stayed that way for a good 20-30 minutes until it eventually came back on, much to our disappointment.  The principal came over the intercom and said that he'd had a lady in the office run uptown to pay the electric bill. xD;;;

The morning after, Friday, when we got to school, Mr. Adams and Tonya were outside the front of the school.  As we pulled up, Tonya waved us on and mouthed, "No School."  I rolled down the window and asked what was going on and she told me that there'd been a fire at the Elementary school the night before.  She said that someone left a burner on in the kitchens or something.  But, see, what I think really happened was a crackhead snuck into the school at night, what with it being in a bad neighborhood and all.  No major damage and no one was hurt, just required some clean up and stuff at the school, so they shut the whole system down for the day.  I was really happy, though, because that meant I could stay home all day and play Nightfall, the new Guild Wars expansion.  Mom had picked it up the day before and I'd already activated it and stuff.  So that's how I spent my Friday, Saturday, and most of today. >_>;

In fact, I was playing it just a while ago, until mom came up here and kidnapped me to take me with her to Wal-Mart. I swear we hadn't been in the store two minutes when someone comes up behind me and taps me on the shoulder. It was Matthew Pierce. Again. I think he came up with something along the lines of, "Hey, remember me?" 'Course I do. D= This was the same guy that came up to me a few months ago in Winn-Dixie and tried to get my phone number. He was working there at the time, but now he works for the police department. We talked for a bit with my mom standing there, until she deserted me. "Well, I'm gonna go shop, you two talk." she said. Deserter! Traitor! How dare she?! Dx< So I was standing there with Matthew. I can't remember exactly how the conversation went. He was telling me about working at the police department, trying to become a cop, how he'd recently bought a house, paid off his debt. Things like that. Then he pulls out his wallet to "show me his wallet-size diploma." Psh, as if I'm naive enough to believe that. He wanted me to see that he has money, which he does. Lots of it. Like, $600 right there in his wallet. And I'm thinking, "What the hell... He can't seriously think..." So he shows me his diploma thing, shows me a tattoo he got on his arm and blah blah.

Somewhere in the midst of all this, I said, "Well, I wonder what happened to you. I saw you that one day at Winn-Dixie and I didn't see you after that." To which he replied, "Nah, you're just saying that now to make me feel better since you kinda blew me off the first time."

I kind of just looked at him. "I didn't blow you off." He scratched his head and said, "Well, I kind of made it obvious that I was... trying to date you."

I was completely blown away at this point. I shook my head and tried to articulate what I was thinking, but found it kinda hard. I was sort of rambling on. "I'm not... I really don't... I... uh..." that kind thing. "Not the dating type?" He finally said for me, which I agreed with. xD;; I told him that I was more focused on school and other things at the moment, and that I wasn't interested in a relationship. He said I was smart for thinking that way.

So we kept talking. He asked if I was interested in video games, and I told him that I actually wanted to be a game designer. "Well, I have an XBox 360." He said. I laughed. That is the weirdest pick-up line I've ever heard. xD;; So we started talking about games, school, books, and other stuff. Somewhere in the middle, he said, "You really should date." But I... kind of didn't answer that one. >_>;; He was telling me about his training to become a cop and all that stuff, was talking about reviving people and different stuff he'd seen. Suddenly, he says, "Am I making you uncomfortable?"

"No... No, not at all. Why?" I didn't really get why he thought I'd be uncomfortable. Maybe because of all the violence dealing with police work? I'unno.

"Because I talk a lot when I get nervous," He said. "Like when I'm in the presence of a beautiful woman."

*DIES*

That clinched it.  I was just like, "Fuuuuck, let me get out of here.  Or take the hint that I'm not interested." Dx  But I couldn't just bail, because I'm nice and all that stupid shit. Dx  So we ended up walking over to the electronics section.  He was trying to find a game that he'd bought there, a game similar to Diablo that he thought I'd like.  He told me that he'd bought Oblivion, which I instantly was jealous of, and told him so.  He kept trying to use his money to impress me, because here he told me that he'd bought a computer that cost him $3,000. x_x;;  Bah on him.  "You should come over some time.  You can play Splinter Cell and Oblivion." DX<<<  No thanks. >_>;

Other parts of the convo I left out, like him telling me he was helping to run a haunted house and that he plays guild wars, too (shocker!).  And um... yeah. >_>;

After that, I met back up with mom and told her, and she won't stop teasing me about it. XD;; We went to DQ then came back home, and I was eating my mushroom and swiss for most of this update. >_>

So, uhm, yeah, that's about it. >_>;;

I've kind of missed out on updating a lot of stuff in the time I've been... vegetating, I guess. Anyway.

A few weeks ago we had a two week break after our midterms. Well, actually, the first week was a remedial week for the people who failed the midterms and the second week was the actual break. Anyway, when we came back to school I was met with a nasty surprise. In our lunchroom, surrounding all the outer bit of it, they constructed a 4ft tall brick wall. The administration says that it was designed to help direct "traffic" and to keep people who are switching classes from becoming mixed in with the people eating lunch. All it really serves to accomplish is to make the school feel more like a prison. It's so drab and depressing to look at, it's all grey and foreboding and ick. Maybe I'll get around to drawing a map so people can understand what I mean. The art club (see below) has gotten permission to do a mural on it. The day of the pep rally last week, Mr. LeMahieu proposed that we do a massive mural of the Gates of Hell. I like that suggestion. =3

As far as the art club goes, it's only recently been established. Like I've said before, a lot of the school staff was switched around over the summer. What with Mr. LeMahieu being new to the school and all, he didn't have the art club set up at the beginning of the year. But we're good to go now. Our first club meeting was supposed to be Tuesday, but the principal called a surprise faculty meeting, so it got pushed to Thursday, which is the same day as my Academic Bowl meetings. x_x Anyway, in this art club, we're going to be doing a lot of things we aren't able to do in class. Mr. Dude says that we'll probably meet for an hour or two after school each week to work on murals, learn how to throw pots, art history (if we're interested, which I am), and different painting techniques and whatnot. Seems like it'll be awesome, since art class is only 45 minutes long.

Also, it seems like our school has finally gotten a technology upgrade this quarter. When we came back, every classrom had an LCD projector attached to the ceiling. Those things are so much more awesome than those old, crappy bulb projectors. I stab them all in the face. Our Trig class got more of an update this week. Mr. Woodams got this cool little blue orb thingy that works with the projector. Along with it comes a set of 35-40 blue remotes, numbered individually and with buttons A-H. So what we do in class now instead of doing warm-up questions that we have to write down and turn in, we just do the problem from the projector in our head (or on paper, if need be) and press the button to turn in our answer. It's so awesome. >_>

Hm, what else... Oh, yeah, senior pictures. I fucking hate how our school makes us do senior pictures. For the males, it's all right, they have to wear this tuxedo looking thing. For the girls, however... bleh. We have to wear this fugly, frilly, off-the-shoulder black piece o' shit. First of all, the thing is hideous, as I've described. Second of all, I'm really not comfortable with exposing myself, even in such a minor way, in public. I have a phobia. And third of all, it's gonna fucking suck looking like everyone else in my yearbook. I swear these people are determined to rip any shred of individuality I have left away from me. Oh, and we may not even have yearbooks this year. There was an announcement that said in order for us to get yearbooks, 100 people had to preorder them. Only about 10 have ordered. And it's all due by next week. -_-

But anyway, different subject. There was this assembly program thing we had today, something called Future Now. I've seen posters for it around the school for a few months now, and I've kind of been determined to go just for the hell of it (and for the drawing of an X360 and an undisclosed number of iPods). I heard the other day that it was supposed to be kind of a religious thing, so that really put me off. But the assembly today was really good. I truly enjoyed it and respected the message these people were putting out. A lot of the people at my school needed to hear what these people were saying. Anyway, the assembly at school wasn't the actual Future Now program, but more like a preview. The actual thing is at 7:00, in about 10 minutes. The reason I'm not going is because originally my little brother Asa was supposed to go with me, but he and Randy went out of town to look at a car deal a guy just called in about. Sooo, I don't wanna go by myself, I won't enjoy it. =\

So, uhm... that's about it for now. =D

Yeah, so. I want to start actually updating from time to time. >_>

If you're gonna read this one, lean back and kick up your feet. It's gonna be a doozy.

I'll recap the last week. Granted, a lot's happened, but I'll try to keep it all straight.

-10/11/06 Wednesday
Wednesday I went with FBLA to the Southwest Georgia Fair in Perry. I got to the school at about 6:40a.m.-ish. I was worried about going because I didn't think that anyone I knew would be going, too. Luckily, Jevon was there when I walked in, so I was kind of relieved. We got on the bus and left for the 2-hour long trip to Perry at about 7:00. I sat with Rachel for the ride there, with Jevon to my right, Robert in front of me, and a freshman named Steven behind us. Surprisingly, I stayed awake for the whole trip there. Adrenaline, I guess. xD On the way there, Steven kept freaking out about my hair... Like, practically having an orgasm every time I'd flip it over my shoulder. Dx He's gay, I think. He sounds like it and acts that way, at least.

Anyway, when we finally got to the fair, they did the usual make-the-kids-wait-on-the-bus-for-ten-minutes-for-no-reason thing. I ended up pairing with Rachel, Jevon, Robert, Steven, and another Freshman named Robert (who shall henceforth be known as Alex to avoid confusion). The first thing we all did was search for a bathroom. We walked around the whole park at least twice until we finally ran into an operator that told us the bathrooms wouldn't be open to the public until 12:00... Well, it was, like, 9:00, and we couldn't wait that long. We told him so and he told us that we could use the Emoployee restroom further down the park. We walked there, but it there were two ladies who worked in the park in there, and they basically told us, "Get the fuck out." So, seething, we went in search of another bathroom. By this time, the big main bathroom in the center of the park had been opened, so our search was ended.

After all that, we still had some time to kill until the rides opened at 12:00. We walked around in the art exhibit hall. Holy shit they had some awesome stuff. So awesome that I bought a disposable camera ($10 for a #*&$ing camera! DX) just to take pictures of some of them. >_< It was all pretty much what everyone does at a fair that day... We rode rides, ate artery-clogging, greasy food... We had a pizza, and it was goooood. Dx None of us were much used to the rides, so we kind of got sick after the third or fourth ride. I think Robert threw up. >_>; I got sunburnt, a huge welt/bruise on my leg, and got my arm scratched and bruised up. Overall, it was great fun. =3 At any rate, that was my day at the Perry Fair. We left at about 5:00. I fell asleep for most of the return trip. As I mentioned before, Steven was sitting behind me on the bus (in the back seat). Somewhere in the ballpark of about 50 miles away from the school, he hit the emergency door and triggered that little alarm thing. The thing is, we couldn't get it to stop. So for most of the ride back, that stupid thing was all, "AAAAAAAANNNNN". x_x. No more sleep for me. Dx Anyway, we got home at 7:00.

Yee, moving on.

-10/15/05 Sunday
Yee, we went to Wild Adventures! My mom had never gone before, and she was sick of just sitting around doing nothing, so we just... went. It's about an hour and a half drive from here to there. Surprisingly, the kids were all really good on the way there. When we bought our tickets at the booth to get in, the guy inside obviously didn't count me. So when the rest of my family went in I had to go back and buy another ticket. -_- But it was okay. The first thing we went on was Pharoah's Fury, which is what I go on first every time. Mom and the twins got on there with me, and at first Spencer was really excited. By the time the ride started though, he was freaking out and clutching to the bar. xD Erin, on the other hand, was screaming and enjoying herself thoroughly. xD I found out that Erin is like me, sort of an adrenaline junkie. She rode all the big rides with me, and the roller coasters that she was tall enough for, or that we felt safe putting her on. She was my buddy for most of the day, riding everything with me. xD

We walked around the park from 10:00a.m. to 10:00p.m.  We had much fun, rode the rides, at the food, saw the shows, looked at the animals.  Every time I go to Wild Adventures, I have to have some pizza from the pizza shop, a slice of cheesecake, Dippin' Dots, and a cheese dog (don't ask).  Not all at once, mind, but within the day. xD  As with the Perry Fair three days before, the day after we went, I was sore everywhere.  My hips ached like hell for some reason.  And those roller coaster rides are hell on your ears, they're so rough.  I didn't get any wounds from Wild Adventures like I did from the Perry Fair, though.  ;_;

Moving right along!

-10/19/06 Thursday
Erin had another doctor's appointment out of state at her specialist in Talahasse yesterday. As usual, mom wasn't going to be able to be back in time to pick me up from school, so I went with them. The drive there isn't far, maybe an hour and a half, and the hospital is really close to the edge of the city, so traffic isn't bad. Actually, traffic was much better than we'd expected, so we ended up getting there about an hour early. We went to Wal-Mart to kill time. Erin picked out her Halloween costume and I got a new book, Here, There Be Dragons. Uhm, I don't remember what else we did there... When we got to the doctor's office, they dialated Erin's eyes, so we were there for about an hour or so. Afterwards, we went to Chili's and I had teh Cajun Chicken Pasta (zomg) and mum had the Mushroom Jack Fajita (omfg Dx). Talk about delicious. ;_; Mom talked to Randy while we were in the restaraunt and he said the boys were driving him crazy at work (it was about 3:30 at this time), so mom decided we'd just go straight home. I slept most of the way back. We picked up the boys and headed home.

-10/20/06 Friday (Today! =D)
So all this week was homecoming week at school. I think it was...

Monday - Twin Day
Tuesday - Professional Day
Wednesday - Tacky Day
Thursday - Jersey Day
Friday - Spirit Day

I took pictures of Tacky Day. Mom brought me a camera while I was in class (I'd left mine at home >_<). I can't wait to get them developed. XD

So we had our pep rally today. It only lasted about 20 minutes because the geniuses at school set it to start at 3:00 when we get out of school at 3:20. Dx I really don't care much about pep rallies, especially this year because it cuts my Art IV class. Uhm, nothing special about that.

And just about an hour ago, the boys had a huge fight... This is what happened (I think): Spencer said that Asa hit him in the chin with a ball, which mad him fall on the floor and scratch his hand, and he can't stop crying. Asa flipped out and started crying because he didn't want to get into trouble. So Spencer starts screaming, "No one loves me! It's like everyone hates me!" and Asa keeps going, "Why is everyone so mean to me? I can't do anything right!"... So we finally got them both to calm down. My sister Erin and I started watchign the Sixth Sense. Asa didn't want to watch it so he went to go past me and Erin, we both had our legs propped up on the table, and he steps on her legs as he goes over, like, almost hyperextending them.

So I yelled at him for that and he went into mom's room.  Anyway, Erin and I were watching this movie and Spencer didn't wanna watch it, so I told him to watch tv in mom's room.  I told Asa to go to his room because I didn't want the boys together alone, and he flipped out.  Asa finally goes to his room and starts hyperventilating.  I called outside for mom (she and Randy had gone outside when the boys calmed down the first time) and told her Asa was freaking out.  So she came back in and I ran upstairs...  Yeah. >_>;

And now Scott just made a parody of his song "Under Water". XDD He said that he kept mistyping it as "Under Wear", and I made up some spoof lyrics on the spot and he recorded them. xDD

Holy shit, the hilarity. xDDD

Oh, also. The guy from Jostens (company that makes class rings and senior supplies) came to school the other day, don't remember which exactly. Anyway, my senior supplies altogether are going to be $400 or more. Yeah, I don't see it happening, either.

And yar, I blame John for this: http://media.putfile.com/ultimateshowdown#start

Yee, John! <3-ness =3.

-July 4th was Gackt's (32nd?) Birthday. Happy Birthday, Gackt!

-July 13th was my little brother Asa's 13th birthday. Happy Birthday, Ace! We didn't do much, just had a party here at the house for just the immediate family. =D

-July 29th was Grandma Faye's 95th (Randy's grandmother) birthday. Happy Birthday, Grandma Faye! For her birthday, we had a big party at the Sunset Grill in the mall. Everyone was there, even family from Miami. It was pleasant enough... And Randy invited all the people over to our house today. Sooo... Mom and I had to wake up early and clean while Randy did nothing. Dx

The only people that came by were Randy's sister and her husband and child, Jaret. They didn't stay for long before they had to leave. They had a 8 hour drive to Miami ahead of them. >_O

I had to go to open house for school not too long after they left. Most of the faculty are new. I think it was 23 teachers who retired/got fired/left/transfered. But, I guess before that I should write out my new schedule.

1 - Human Anatomy & Physiology (Mr. Williams)
2 - Business Document Processeing (Ms. Brown)
3 - Advanced Trig (Mr. Woodams)
4 - Art II (Mr. LeMahieu)
5 - Welding (Mr. Gilmore, or Mr. G)
6 - Welding "
7 - Welding "
8 - Band (Mr. Averill)
9 - Art III&IV

So, we're obviously on period schedule this year. The reason that welding is in three periods is because it's a college class, and the college is on block schedule. So it has to be a 90 minute class. I've been in school for two weeks now... I just now got around to finishing a draft I saved the day I went to open house.. There was bad weather and such and the power cut off on me and I never felt like finishing it until now. xD

I can't remember exactly what all I wanted to talk about... Well, I'll just talk, then. I'll probably remember the stuff later.

I've been in school for two weeks now. As far as I can tell, this school year won't be so bad. I don't like my first period teacher... he kind of sucks. All... yelling and shit.

Second period is a breeze, because I type fast and I know the material, so I get done before everyone else.

Third period... blah, math. What can I say.

Fourth is art. Omg, I love this art class. LeMahieu is such a trip. xD He kind of throws all political correctness out the window and I so love him for it. I'll probably talk about him a lot in the future. xD

After that is welding... bleh, not much new there...

The new band teacher is this really weird looking guy. He's proportioned weird, like his head is too big for his body. Or maybe it's just the way his hair is, I don't know. >_> He's really small, and looks like he's had a lot of sunburns in his life. His skin is kind of leathery... eh D=

Uhm, then I have art again. It's so funny to see the difference in how LeMahieu treats the art II people and how he acts with the art III&IV people. xD He's much more strict with art II. More playful with the last group. xD

And OMG! Nicole's back!!! I almost died of happiness when I saw her at open house. ._.

But, uh yeah... I'm really tired so I can't think very well. I got home at 4-ish and crashed until 11:30. >_>; I can't really figure out how I can still be tired, but meh.

I'm hoping that I'll post entires more often now that I'm back in school and not glued to Guild Wars all day. x_x

...and there was something else just now that I wanted to type... but I lost it.

Rawr! Since Michelle tagged me for this meme thing, I guess I have to update. But I'll do that later. I really need to catch up. *sigh*

What's with these sporadic updates lately?  I used to update every day.  Oh, right, Guild Wars happened. Thanks a lot, ANET!  *hiss*  I finally beat it with my assassin, and then I beat it in four days with my ranger. o_O;

Moou, I guess I should talk about my real life and not my cyber one. So, Leigh from the Bookstore finally called me and asked me to come work last Thursday. Unfortunately, she wanted me to come in on Saturday, but that's the day of our annual family reunion/Fathers' Day event thing, so I... kind of couldn't go. ._.; Leigh said that she understood and that she'd call me again.

So that weekend, I went to Florida as planned. Almost as soon as I got there, my grandmother asked me if I'd go like to see Don. Don is my aunt Donna's father, the one who was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago. He's just gotten off of his chemotherapy and is able to move around a bit. Which is great. Don's a really nice man, and I wanted to go and see how he was doing. I was a bit afraid of what he'd look like, though, judging from the way everyone was talking about his condition... But when we got there, he looked great. His hair had grown back and he was able to stand on his own. I found out that he's not able to eat, though. He has a tube inserted into his stomach and that's how he eats every day, on a diet of Slim Fast. Poor guy. D=

Anyhoo, Dan was there, along with Charlsea, Amanda, their great aunt Virginia, and Cynthia (Don's wife). We stayed for a bit while it rained and left when it slackened. Don went to the hospital to have a growth in his throat removed and to have his throat stretched to see if he could eat. I don't know how that turned out...

So I ended up attending the Brock reunion. The only reason I really wanted to go was to see Laura. She didn't go last year because she went to that thing in Washington, D.C. Come to find out she didn't go this year either. Dx Her parents made a spontaneous decision two or three days previous to go on a cruise. So while I was sitting in a roasting, run down agricultural center (which I was only enduring because I thought she'd be there), my cousin is on a FRIKKEN CRUISE IN BERMUDA! *dies*

My dad went this year... Which is odd, he hasn't gone in about six years. I stayed with him most of the time, until after we ate. Then I went out with my other two cousins, Dan and Deanna. Dan's cool enough. The three of us walked around outside for a bit before their parents came out and they went home.

Before they left, though, Aunt Donna gave me $25 as a late birthday present, which I in turn used to buy my dad breakfast at Huddle House on Fathers' Day. =D Later that day, we went to my step-mom's Fathers' Day event thing at her brother Rick's house. Everyone was mostly sitting out by the pool drinking from noon to sunset. I ended up driving home. Also, I realized that my step-mom is a very happy person when she's drunk. xD

I got a sunburn from sitting out by the pool. I wasn't in a bathing suit or anything, but my face and scalp got burned. It hurt to brush my hair and to wash it for a few days, and now it's peeling. Eugh.

Oh, also, I think I broke my toe(s) last Thursday. I got up too fast from sitting on the couch and ran into the table. My foot was lovely and purplish-blacky-blue for a few days. Go me. XD

And I have new friends! My guild made an alliance with Pros At Inactivity [bleh]
and Makai Knights [Maka]. Jesse is in my guild now, and she's also in Shinigami Keys [shin], and she introduced me to a guildmate of hers, Jessica. They're both great fun. And then there's Robyn, who's from [Maka]. Fun, fun. =D

Meh, I guess I should get around to this meme, then... Next post!

xDD

I am having the weirdest funking period of my life. Don't click the cut link unless you can handle me talking about it in very graphic detail.

Also, please don't read it if you're only going to leave a childish comment.

Okay, so apparently you have the maturity and the stability of mind to handle this kind of thing. Good for you. ^_^b

As I've said, I didn't start my period when I was supposed to. I was very nearly two weeks late (almost exactly). I knew I was going to start this month because I had my discharge flow, which I didn't have last month. I thought it'd be a few weeks, but I started yesterday. And it was... odd, to say the least. The blood came out... brown-ish. And I still had the discharge. Now it's the normal color, reddish, but I'm still having the discharge flow. So it's all... eugh.

And I haven't had a cramp. Normally I have awful cramps the first day, but I haven't had anything. Nothing, not the first twinge of pain. This is the weirdest period I've ever had. x_x

Anyway, not much else is going on today. I finally got my guildmates to help me get past Tahnnakai temple and now we're waiting on Myoho to get past Naphui so we can go to House Zu Heltzer.

Did I confuse anybody? xD

And I started reading Queen of the Damned yesterday. Anne Rice is a total goddess.

And now I'm downloading Princess Princess epi 8. =B

I woke up this morning and hopped into the shower. Afterwards I asked mom if I could go to the bookstore to pick up Queen of the Damned (I finished The Vampire Lestat yesterday).

As I walked in, Ms. Leigh comes up to me and says, "I'm glad you came in today." Of course, I kind of knew what that meant right off. XD She wants to start a summer story hour and an arts and crafts thing. She needs someone (me) to work the register while she's reading to the kids and she said she might let me head the arts and crafts part. *squee* She said that it would only be about six hours a week, but I don't care. Thursdays starting at 10:30 and Saturdays after lunch.

*boogies*

After I left the bookstore, we went to Wal-Mart. Guess who I saw there! Kambry and Karli's grandmother was shopping in the shoes section. (Reminder: Those are the two girls I babysat last summer.) I stopped and talked to her and asked her how the girls were and all that. I keep wondering if Mandy'll call me and ask me to babysit for her again. It'd work out pretty well if she did. xD I'd be working... well, five days a week, but I'm not really counting on it.

Today's been great! I'm so elated! I love moods like this! YAAY!!!

I swear I should stop coming to Florida. Every time I do, something negative always happens. My dad came and picked me up from my house yesterday, and I spent the night with him. I don't know what it is about his house, but for some reason whenever I go there I have an allergy explosion. Ever since last night my head has been pulsing and my nose clogged almost as soon as I stepped foot in the house. My throat hurts... it's all scratchy.

I think it's the cigarette smoke.

But besides that, I always feel extremely unwelcome in my dad's home... I had assumed that he would use this weekend as a means for making up my birthday to me. He didn't even send a card in the mail. But no, he asked me and my stepmom last night what we wanted to do. She replied tartly with something like this: "It doesn't matter what I want to do because we're not gonna be able to do it. She (meaning me) won't want to do it anyway." It's glaringly obvious that she doesn't like it when I come to the house. She and dad were fighting earlier because she was in a bad mood because we hadn't done anything today. By this time, my sinuses were burning me and I had a throbbing headache. I just wanted them to be quiet.

We ended up going out to eat for lunch at the Chuck Wagon. That was really the only pleasant part of my dad at my dad's house. When we got home, I basically sat around reading my book, The Vampire Lestat, and occassionally playing with SunnyBoy. Robbin showed me some kindness today in that she went out and bought me some Pepsis and some starbursts. I appreciated that...

I finally told my dad that I wanted to come over here, and here I am now, sitting at my grandfather's computer. And I left my blasted book at my dad's house.

My grandma and I just talked for over an hour, catching up with each other. She and I talk so easily to each other. It's strange how there's no gap between us... We talked about many things, my school, my anger at my stepdad, her mother, my mother, family, distances between the generations, my estrangement from my father, my aunt's surgery and her father's cancer treatment, mothers' day, and other things I can't remember exactly... It was late for her and she only just went to bed.

And I came in here to see if anyone was online and to check my e-mail. I found one from Jenna telling me that Pennie's niece has neruoblastoma cancer... I need to find a way to get in touch with her. I asked Jenna if she knew Pennie's number, but I doubt very seriously that she does.

...My sinuses are bothering me. And I still haven't started my period. I'm exactly two weeks late now. It's so strange for me, I'm usually so regular, generally starting two days before the full moon. And here it is the New Moon. I've never been off before. But I'm not in any pain, so I assume it's all right. My mom told me that she's skipped months before, that it's not all that uncommon.

I wish I had that thrice damned book with me. I think Anne Rice is beginning to influence the way I write. I don't suppose it's a change worth worrying about. I rather like her style.

My eyes ache... there's a continous throb in my temples with every beat of my pulse... I need to sleep, but I'm not tired...

Oh, what to do, what to do... There's no one to talk to. Scott just signed off. I told him to go to bed, that I'd talk to him tomorrow. I'm signed in to Guild Wars right now, with this window on top of it so I can still see the text of the game. But no one's talking. It's too late, everyone's asleep, even though they're still signed in.

I'm going to attempt to go to bed. Don't know how well I'll sleep, though. I just can't wait to get home.

So, Saturday night Travis, Fletcher, Noodle, and Tyler all got into a wreck. Apparently, Noodle was driving and going waaay to fast on a very dangerous road. She went to turn a corner to fast and hit the ditch. The car rolled three times and on either the first or second roll she was thrown out of the car and landed about 20 feet away. Everyone's okay, though. The worst of the damage was that Noodle had a busted nose.

Travis came over to my house and told me this yesterday. He called as I was watching tv and said, "I need to tell you something, but I don't want to tell you over the phone. It needs to be to your face." So I was naturally freaked out anyway. o_O; Then he told me about the wreck and all that crap.

Yeah, so, mom bought some sidewalk chalk yesterday (YAY!). I had so much fun with it. =DD The whole time I was coloring Travis was looking at me like I was stupid. Bump him. After that the kids got in the pool and the three of us (mom, Travis, and I) all sat on lawn chairs for about 2 hours watching them. He ended up staying for dinner and we played video games for a while before he went home.

I just now got home from going to see Over the Hedge. If you haven't seen it yet, you need to. It's the cutest movie.

And in the past three days I've gotten back into guild wars. I don't know why...

Oh! Also! My little brother corrected my spelling the other day! XDD Mind, he's 8 years old. I was typing up an e-mail to my cousin while I was talking to him. I think I had a line written like this:

"I've been taking finals this passed week."

Asa looks at it and says, "That shouldn't be 'passed.'" I looked at it for a second before I finally caught it. He's a smart little thing. I totally missed it.

Now I feel like crashing. x_x G'night.

But before that, I should recap, methinks. My mom and I got over our little spat. Mothers' Day was pleasant enough. We went out to the mall, where I bought her her gift. It was a nice gold heart pendant from Friedman's Jewelers and a card and teddy bear from Hallmark. I gave it to her as we sat down in Jonny Carino's. She nearly started crying. XD

And I took two finals today. Passed the Algebra II one, don't know about Economics.

The twins' kindergarden graduation was today. It was the usual thing. Really hot and stuffy though.

I've found a new obsession. I was browsing around on DA and happened to look at Danielle's favorites. There I found a really nice tutorial on coloring for Photoshop. I love it! I've already colored in two things and I'm going through my stuff to find more.

This is the first one that I colored in:
http://www.deviantart.com/view/33365011/

And after I saw how well that one turned out (regardless of the amateurish errors) and saw it against the original coloring thing I did, I wanted to gag. My first attempt looked horrid, so I redid that drawing and now it looks like this:
http://www.deviantart.com/view/33416980/

Me likey! =333

And has anyone else noticed how the bottom part of Roxas' leg on the front cover of KH2 is waaaay too long? o_O;

When people say mean or hateful things to me, I generally tend to not pay it any attention at all. But my mom really hurt me earlier.

I'd gotten in the truck when she picked me up from school and she asked me if I was staying home this weekend. Well, you have to understand first that I'd had one of those up-and-down days, so I was sort of frazzled and didn't remember that Sunday is Mothers' Day. I told her I was going, and she said that I'd hurt her feelings. I then said I'd stay if she wanted me to... What she said then is what hurt me.

"No, go. I don't want you here because if you stay it'll only be out of guilt."

My mom and I are best friends for the most part, and that really felt like a stab in the gut. What really sucks is that now I'm in a catch-22. I can't get her or do anything now without her thinking that I'm doing it because I feel guilty.

*sigh*

It pretty much crushed the high I'd been on all day. We took our College English final this morning, and boy was it easy. We finished it soon enough to grade our own tests. I made a 93, but Dr. Haydel added 5 points to all of our tests because of mistakes he'd made on the test. Besides that, I answered a question in class the other day that won me +3 points on my test.

So that's a 101. O_O! And the final counts 50% of the class!

Yaaaay! I passed.

But I'm not in that gleeful euphoria such as I was earlier... I feel sick. My head hurts, my throat aches, my ears are ringing, my eyes are dry.

Yeah, I cried... It really hurt.

...but this helps a little bit.
http://www.deviantart.com/view/32501630/

Last Thursday, May 4th, was my birthday. I'm 17 now. Go me. =P

Mum took me out for the day... I can't exactly remember what all we did, but...  I think we went to Sams first, because I wanted to get a new computer chair (which I didn't).  Ended up getting a book by Mercedes Lackey, The Fairy Godmother.  I haven't read it yet...  We went to the mall, where I bought the expansion pack for Guild Wars, Factions.  My mom bought herself a copy, too.  We went out to eat at Jonny Carino's and then went and saw RV.  She needed to go to Wal-mart after that to get something for my brother, and I ended up getting a new bedspread set thingy.  I also bought Black&White 2, which I've yet to install because I'm fighting for space on my comp. =_=;

Not much else has happened since then. I've made a new friend, Jason, who's nearly exactly on year younger than me. His birthday's May 3rd. xD

I had a lot of people be nice to me yesterday. It was actually very cool. Miss Tonya, one of the guidance couselor people, bought me a coke from the teachers' lounge, Ms. Thornton brought me some Reese's when I made the comment that I hadn't eaten that day, and Kirk paid the fine on my library book. So nice. ^_^

I've gotten a lot of new books in the past two weeks. I think this is all of them:

The Fairy Godmother, by Mercedes Lackey
One Good Knight, by Mercedes Lackey
His Majesty's Dragon, by Naomi Novick
Throne of Jade, by Naomi Novick
Interview with the Vampire, by Anne Rice

I keep thinking I've bought more, but I can't remember. I've already read One Good Knight. I didn't know it was second in the series until I saw the first one at Sams. x_x I'm in the process of reading Interview with the Vampire right now. I just got finished watching the movie again. =DD

And I need to catch up on my English work... My final in there is tomorrow. =\

Jeeze, I have to attempt to remember everything that happened in the past, er, month that I haven't updated.

Well, looking back on my schedule thing, it looks different now. It's looking like this:

???

1a

Body Sculpting

4a

Art I

4a

Art I

4b

Band

4b

Band

Yeah, so, anyway. That Friday, April 14th, we had a cook out thing. Our principal paid for the food and drinks and whatnot, and we were finally able to eat out into the courtyard. It was pretty cool.

The next week was Spring Break. I didn't do much that week. Wednesday, the 26th, mom had to go to a funeral. Her best friend's sister's grandson died. He was a year and four months old, and he drowned Easter Sunday at the family's get together. Thursday, mom took my little brother on his field trip to the planetarium. Friday, we went shopping for my outfit to wear at my cousin's wedding.

So... Carla's wedding was sooooo boring. I've never heard so much damned preaching at a wedding in my life. After they'd said their vows, the guy marrying them went off preaching for a good twenty minutes. There were some parts where I really had to grit my teeth to keep from growling, what with my whole not agreeing with Christian ideals and such. Yeah...

That Sunday my dad took me to his annual post office picnic. Yeah, he's a mailman. It was at this little lake somewhere near Panama City.

Last Friday I did something I haven't done in a looooong time. I laid out and attempted to get a tan. I stayed out a whole four hours, put tanning oil on and everything, but got nothing... Yeah, we didn't have school that friday. It was prom. Obviously, I didn't go. I went and stayed with my grandparents this past weekend and saw Beauty and the Beast and the dinner theater thing. It was a high school performance, so it wasn't anything spectacular.

And... I've been downloading a lot of anime recently. Cluster Edge, Gakuen Heaven, Princess Princess, KKM, and so forth.

I got my Graduation Test scores back today. I made:

Language Arts: 592
Math: 566
Science: 542
Social Studies: 568

500 is passing, 530 is pass+. I hate Tim. He got a 600 in math. Hate hate hate.

I can't really think of anything else to say. I might remember something later. I need to do research work now. Someone shoot me. x_x

Soooo... I was so damned tired today. I stayed up really late last night and early this morning (procrastination sucks Dx) trying to finish my research and all my work for Dr. Haydel's class. Yeah, but I did finish. Or at least got something accomplished. =\

I'm really ticked, though. After all the work I did, we didn't even have class today! Nooo, the school chose today to be stupid. We're on a block schedule right now, and next year the school's trying to move us to a block and period mix. Which is messed up, but okay... Anyway, the way that they're doing it this year is that we sign up for our classes in homeroom. Our homeroom teacher then finds out what we need and all that stuff. BUT! We can't get in the classes unless the teacher approves and signs the paper on which we've signed up for the classes. In order to do that, they let the entire school go during first block.

The entire fucking school.

People were running down the halls like idiots, screaming and carrying on. The teachers were set up in the hallways at tables and you had to wait in line to register. The lines were frikken unbelievable. I went ahead and got signed up for my art class first (I'm so grateful I did that) and was going to go back and get my other classes. This is how my schedule was lined up:

First Semester

Class

Second
Semester

1a

???

2b

French?

3a

PE

3a

PE

3b

Accounting

3b

Accounting

4a

Art I

4a

Art I

4b

1st Responder

4b

1st Responder

For first block first semester, there are no classes that I can take. The only thing offered first block first semester is Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, U.S. History, and Economics. I've taken all of them. I can't take the 3b because I've already taken it. I know I didn't want to sign up for PE or that 1st Responder thing, whatever the hell that is. Some health class that I have no interest in. At the moment, only two of my classes are confirmed--my English 193 and Art I.

English 193 is second semester is because the tenth graders (this year) are going to take the first part of the class next semester, then the second part with us. That's funked up because we can barely fit the people we have in there now into that tiny class. But whatever.

I'm trying to get things straightened out. I went up to the front office and talked to Mr. Adams about the not-having-a-first-block-ness. He said not to worry about it. I went and signed up for Physics, French II, Accounting II, and College Algebra in the front office. Hopefully we'll have those classes.

*sigh* I had everything all planned out. I was going to take French II this semester, then take two academics next semester, and then I could have applied for early graduation. As it stands now, all I really have to take is another math class and I'm done. Nothing left but electives. I'm taking all these extra academics because I want to, though. A day filled with electives would be too boring. But then the school went and screwed me over again. *sigh* I hate this place. I can't wait to get out.

And I went to sleep in two of my classes today. That's not unusual for my Economics class, but I fell asleep in Algebra today. I have never, ever gone to sleep in that class. I like it too much. Dx Damn procrastination-ness.

Mmm, g'night.

Whoa, so... I'm starting to get irritated with KH2... I can't beat Xigbar. I want him to die and he won't. Dx

And I haven't been able to play it in the last two days...

But something weird happened to me yesterday! Tiffany Jones, my friend from, like, second grade to sixth, came to my school at lunch yesterday! I haven't seen her in forever. She just walked up with a drink in her hand and said, "Is anyone sitting here?"

Well, obviously, I jumped up and gave her a hug and started talking to her. She was telling me about how she lives in Tennessee now, how she's been kicked out of her house and how her boyfriend is abusive. I told her that she needed to get out of that relationship, if she has any sense.

Jenna said that she should stab him. Tiffany replied with, "Haha, no! I don't do the blood and violence stuff."

After Tiffany walked away, Jenna turned to me and said, "If she doesn't have the courage to stab him if he hurts her, she doesn't have the courage to get out of the relationship."

...I'm afraid Jenna's right.

At any rate, I had another visitor at my lunch table today. Mr. Carrol came up to me, in his usual Egyption ankhs and Eyes of Horus (I LOVE the ankh he was wearing), and just started talking. I complained to him about the French classes (look down) before he went on and got himself lunch.

Jenna wasn't there at the moment, she was making up a quiz for first block. She passed him at the hall at one point, though. Jenna and Mr. Carrol have this ongoing playful hostility towards each other (although Jenna may say it's not playful XD). When they passed, Jenna said, "Why are you dressed like that? You look like a hobo."

To which he replied, "Well, I knew I was going to be seeing you. I wanted to make you feel comfortable."

XDDDD! HA!

...Yeah. Anyway. Lots of crap has been going on lately. Ashley found out that she was pregnant about two weeks ago, then found out yesterday that she had a miscarriage. She was really very upset about it, but she said that she was grateful she'd had the miscarriage so early, before she'd gotten attached. I personally think that her body can't handle it. She's not shaped for it. She's too small. She's about 5'3" and 105 pounds. She's tiny.

She didn't want to tell me at first. Actually, she didn't want me to know at all. She was afraid that I'd get mad at her and stop talking to her like I've done with Beverly (the girl that got married). I feel that it's two totally different things. Ashley's been with E.J. for a long time, they're engaged and everything... I do feel, however, that she is much too young to have kids. But, well, I don't want to get into that again.

John Bearden (Samantha's older brother) got into a wreck a few days ago. He was driving along some back road and a dog ran out in front of him. He tried to swerve to miss the dog, but ended up totalling his truck and landing himself in ICU. His left femur was shattered, his bone near his ankle was sticking through his skin, he was suffering from internal bleeding, and a large shard of glass had been embedded in his neck. Word has it that he's sitting up and looking around, but not talking to anyone yet.

And then there's the thing with the classes for next year. *sigh* I've been trying for the past two years to get into my French II class, right? Well, today I find out that French isn't even being offered next year! And their changing all the foreign language classes to year-round, so it's not like I can take two Spanish classes in one year! I need this class, and every time I signed up for it Coach Walker took me out because he said I needed to be in a different class.

Thank you very much, Mr. Jackass.

Eugh. I'm going to bed.

I see so many things in this game that will more than likely be the center for many a slash fanfic in the future. Two in particular stand out to me. These are the ones I'd more than likely use. =P

I can't really talk about the events surrounding them, because it might give stuff away, but... Well, here.

Roxas is walking down the street with a resigned air.
Roxas: "What's the point? No one would miss me."
Axel drops his arms and deflates a bit.
Axel: "...I would."

Kee! And here's the really good one.

After completing the PotC level, Elizabeth runs up to Will and jumps into his arms. Sora crosses his arms and leans against the wall.
Sora: "Good for them."
Goofy: Turns around and points at Sora. "Sora, why's your face all red?"
Sora: Brings hands up to face and covers his cheeks. "W-what? My face is not red!"
Goofy: "Yuh-huh."
Donald: Laughs. "I know who you're thinking about."

See, the great thing about that one is that Kairi is implied, but it so could be taken the other way. =3

Oh, and we've all seen that pic of Squall and Cloud standing back to back with their swords, right? The dialogue there is hilarious. This is the part of the game where you have to kill a bajillion Heartless (by yourself, I might add).

Leon and Cloud are completely surrounded by Heartless on all sides.
Leon: "Do you think you can take this many?"
Cloud: "Well... It might be tough if one more shows up.
Leon: Snorts. "Well, then that'll be the one I'll have to take care of."
Cloud: "What, you're fighting, too?"

*giggle*

And I'm about two hours away from beating this game.

...What ever will I do when I beat it?
